authorized and certified to teach the world-renowned

abc / cutting ans coloring hair the SASSOON way techniques.

for the FIRST TIME in the 50 year history of sassoon, we are allowed as a small and prestigious group of schools to teach these methods which SASSOON has perfected over the years.

this is a HUGE accomplishment for the academy of hair design and HUGE news for oklahoma!

at NO OTHER school in oklahoma can you be taught these methods by a SASSOON CERTIFIED instructor and receive a sassoon academy connection school DIPLOMA.

a SASSOON connection school is CHOSEN by SASSOON as a training facility deemed worthy to carry the name “SASSOON academy school connection,” and that school’s instructors are educated and tested regularly by SASSOON academy creative team members.

the academy of hair design instructors are uniquely qualified and certified by SASSOON on a yearly basis. it is an ongoing process, and the knowledge base is fresh and new each year, giving our students an up-to-date education.

how is the academy of hair design connected to duncan bros. salon?

 

the academy of hair design was created by the owners of duncan bros. salon based on a need to train beginning level hair designers.

for many years, duncan bros. salons accepted graduates from other hair academies as assistants in our salons. we would then begin our training process with each individual assistant until they met the requirements to work on clients.

the in-salon program has been extremely successful. however, duncan bros. salon saw the need for a more forward-thinking approach to hair education. our graduates  can walk off The Academy's floor and go straight into our salons or other top salons and launch a successful career.

 

is the academy of hair design connected to duncan brothers school of hair design?

 

duncan brothers school of hair design is not affiliated or connected to the academy of hair design or duncan bros. salons. the duncan brothers name originated over 35 years ago when brothers ron and don duncan opened the first duncan brothers salon. don duncan later stepped out of the salon and started the duncan brothers school of hair design while ron continued with the salons. although no longer business partners, the duncan brothers continue to pursue quality hair design with different visions and equal passion.
